Mariska Hargitay plays Captain Olivia Benson on the NBC series LAW & ORDER: SVU, where she is also an Executive Producer and Director. She has won an Emmy for Outstanding Actress in a Drama, a Golden Globe Award, and two Gracie Allen Awards for American Women in Radio and Television. In 2004, Mariska created the Joyful Heart Foundation, which works to transform society’s response to sexual violence. Central to the foundation’s advocacy work is the “End the Backlog” campaign, which aims to eliminate the backlog of untested rape kits across America and create comprehensive rape kit reform. She produced the HBO documentary I AM EVIDENCE on the topic, winning the 2019 Emmy Award for Best Documentary. Mariska also co-produced EMANUEL, a documentary about the Charleston, SC church shooting, and MY BEAUTIFUL STUTTER, a documentary about a summer camp for young people who stutter. She was recently named to Time Magazine’s “TIME100 Philanthropy 2025: The 100 most influential people shaping the future of giving at a pivotal moment.”

Lauran Bromley

Vice President

Lauran was born in Hawaii and studied at the University of Southern California, majoring in film and minoring in business. Lauran was an Executive Producer for Mariska Hargitay's Emmy winning documentary "I AM EVIDENCE" which revealed the justice system's failure to process hundreds of thousands of rape kits from sexual assault victims. This documentary also won numerous other awards. Lauran also was an Executive Producer for A Tree of Life, Pay it or Die, Emanuel, Hot To Trot, and Drift (starring Cynthia Erivo). Lauran and her wife Bunny make their home in Honolulu and Guam.

Trish Adlesic

Head of Documentary

Trish Adlesic has received two Academy Award nominations and an Emmy for her documentary work. She recently produced Mariska Hargitay's My Mom Jayne for HBO. Trish’s films, The ABC’s of Book Banning, I Am Evidence, A Tree of Life: The Pittsburgh Synagogue Shooting, Gasland, and Gasland II have been powerful catalysts for social change. Trish brings over two decades of experience in narrative filmmaking to her projects. She is a dedicated member of the Academy for Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, the Producers Guild of America, and the Directors Guild of America.

Melissa Glassman

Head of Scripted

Melissa oversees Mighty’s scripted projects from development through distribution. Before joining Mighty, Melissa was Director of Development at Pressman Film, where she managed the company’s slate and its publicity, marketing, and merchandising strategies. Melissa has developed multiple projects as an independent producer. Her most recent film, the documentary Dear Mr. Brody directed by Keith Maitland (TOWER), is streaming on Max. Melissa began her career as a writer and editor for YM magazine, where she traveled the US in search of real stories that focused on teenage life.

Peter Hermann

Creative Director

Peter Hermann is an actor, writer, producer and advocate. His credits include the Tony-Award winning Lincoln Center production of War Horse, the critically acclaimed film United 93, and the romantic comedy Younger, now on Netflix. He is a board member of the Joyful Heart Foundation and was a charter member of the Teach For America Teaching Corp. He is the author of “If the S in MOOSE Comes Loose,” his first children’s book from HarperCollins.
